Acorn

Here is my Thanksgiving card that will be going out to the family this year. I wanted to create a different shape than the usual A2 card, so this is what I came up with.

I made an acorn template and cut out my card base onto kraft cardstock then added some distressing ink to give it a little dimension.   Then I cut the top piece from dark chocolate cardstock and ran it through my Cuttlebug using a Quickutz embossing folder.  The sentiment tag was generated from my computer, the leaves were die cut using the leaf die from Delightful Dahlia on to some green felt I purchased at JoAnn's.  The ribbon is from my stash.

Here is what the card looks like when opened.  I still need to add my Thanksgiving verse.

Thanks for visiting today!
