A Season of Blessings

Every year I send out Autumn cards to my family and this year is no exception.  I love this little acorn from the First Fruits stamp set.  Actually I love all the images from that set.    I stamped the bottom of the acorn in Sahara Sand by Versa Magic, the top is stamped in burnt sienna by Palette.  I used Tombow markers for the leaves and stem.  To add some dimension, I cut out one acorn and added some foam 3D-Dots by EK Success.

The sentiment is from the Fall Elegance set stamped in dark chocolate and ripe avocado.   I rounded the Blessings sentiment to fit the curve of the oval.  I created a picnic plaid design using the five line image from Background Basics- Retro onto kraft cardstock in fresh snow ink.  I stamped the small acorn image from Limitless Labels  in Versamark on terra cotta tile then embossed it with the picnic plaid impressions plate.  The patterned paper is from PTI's Green Tea Leaves paper pack.

I better get these ready to mail since the first day of Fall is coming up soon.

Fall Frames

I'm back again with yet another fall project.  I shared a project with you earlier this year of four picture frames I purchased at the dollar store that I  created art work with using my beloved PTI stamps.  I took those same frames and changed out the art work for something autumn.

For the frames I used the Leaf Prints set stamped in cognac and the veins stamped in burnt sienna.  I destressed all the edges using Tea Dye ink by Ranger. The sentiments in all the frames is from Fall Elegances stamped in dark chocolate.

The pumpkins are from Spooky Treats I stamped in orange zest and cognac, the stems in ripe avocado.

These leaves were stamped in summer sunrise and the veins with cognac.

The wheat image is from First Fruits stamped in cognac and burst sienna.

I'm thinking about doing some winter scenes with these same frames.  I'll be sure to post them if I do.
Thanks for stopping by.

Autumn Banner

I have another Fall projects to share with you.  I love making banners ever since I saw the ones made by Kelly Lunceford.   Of course I had to make an Autumn one that I have hanging in my craft room.

The paper I used is from Melissa Frances, the chipboard letters I picked up at Joann's.  I painted them, flecked them with some brown paint and added some glitter.  I added some gold glitter to the accordion medallions.  The sentiment flags over the U and M are from the Fall Elegances set stamped in dark chocolate.  The leaf buttons I had in my stash as well as the buttons.

I'll be back tomorrow to share another Fall projects, so till then...

Autumn Tree

I know it's been awhile since my last post, my apologies.  I've been working on alot of projects in between work and taking care of my parents.  With Labor Day and the start of football season, I start gearing up for the Fall season.  I made a few projects to decorate my craft room with to make it feel like autumn.

I have this little tree sitting on top of the hutch of my computer desk. I like to decorate it for the seasons or holidays.  Since PTI came out with those beautiful leaf dies I knew exactly how I was going to spruce this tree up for the fall.

I just die cut each leaf pattern in summer sunrise, ripe avocado, terra cotta tile and scarlett jewel.  I then used the vein images and stamped them in dark chocolate.  I punched small holes in each one and added some rustic twine to hang them from the tree.

I'll be back soon to share another fall project.  Till them...
