Happy 4th of July

Popping in to wishing all of my American friends a Happy Independence Day and to share my holiday card.  For the stars I used the star dies from PTI cut from pure poppy felt, a textured cream cardstock I had in my stash and enchanted evening cardstock stamped with the stars from Let Freedom Ring set in fresh snow ink.

I used vintage cream cardstock for the base and added the patterned paper I had in my stash (sorry, don't have the brand)  I then I torn a piece of white fabric measuring a little over 1/2" wide and wrapped it around the front.  I used my pinking sheers to snip off the ends.  I attached the stars using Beacon's craft glue.  The sentiment is stamped on a vintage cream flag in enchanting evening and pure poppy.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your long weekend.

  1. I love red, white and blue/patriotic cards. This one is fabulous! I really like the torn fabric ribbon!! Love that touch of "homespun" it adds to the card. And I really like the layered stars. That die is going to have to move up on my wish list!! :D
